The Cry does not exist without contributions from it's readers. It's a completely submission-driven e-zine.

General guidelines for submission:

To be included in the next month's issue, submissions MUST be in by the 24th of the current month, otherwise they will be held until the next month, or if they are issue-specific (contests, related to the month), will not be used.
Submissions must be sent to aaaamory@yahoo.com and they must have Cry: in the subject. Otherwise they may (and probably will!) be missed!
Acceptable submissions: Anything Gryphon related!! Art, stories, essays, poetry, mixed-media (a story with pictures, for example) and more are allowed, as long as they are Gryphon or GryphGuild related!
You can send in as much as you want!!
By sending in submissions to the above address, you give permission for them to be displayed in the Cry and possibly edited (size or HTMLing) for inclusion.
Please include your name and prefered email address along with your submissions.
This info may change at any time but will always be available. Please check back!

So, you want to do a column?

Columns are regular contributions by an editor that show up in each issue. If you'd like to do a column, please...

Submit your idea to aaaamory@yahoo.com and they must have Cry: in the subject. It will be approved unless it is not Gryphon related, is already being done or is close to another idea, or is hard to do monthly.
Make sure you have time to do the column every month. Each column for the following month's issue must be in by the 24th of the current month. If you don't think you can manage to get something in for every issue, consider just sending in lots of submissions instead!
To make it easier for it to be included in The Cry consider adding basic HTML. (Paragraph, break, bold, and itallic tags. As the overall look of the Cry may change and there should be a flow throughout it, tags that are much more complicated than that may be edited out, which is hard for the editor to do.)
